After another unsuccessful round of IVF, Lou and Maude are broke and running out of options. Things take an unexpected turn when they inherit a house from an estranged relative, but they struggle to assimilate in their eerily pristine new neighbourhood. Made worse by the presence of a monster living inside their home.
From the acclaimed writer of ‘Lemon Tree on Dreg Street’, Dirty Pennies in partnership with Geelong Arts Centre's Creative Engine presents a new queer gothic horror that explores the terror of planning a future in an increasingly frightening world, and the lengths we’ll go to, to keep our monsters at bay.
The production of Our Monster's Name is Jerry has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body. The development of Our Monster's Name is Jerry has been assisted by Geelong Arts Centre and City of Melbourne.
