The Testosterone Club is a dramatic short film with influences of dark humour based on the original short story by Cate Kennedy.
The story focuses on Monica, a neglected wife as she navigates inappropriate and unwelcome advances made by her husband Barry’s best mates; Macka & Chooka. When both men are rejected by Monica, they lie to Barry about the events that transpired, forcing Monica to defend herself against ‘The Testosterone Club’.
After challenging accusations of seduction and infidelity, Monica quickly realises she's stuck in an unsupportive and utterly unsatisfying marriage.
With a little inspiration from classic cooking sensation Gloria Jones, Monica finds the perfect recipe for a little revenge.
